<p>This usually means that a man reaches orgasm a lot sooner than their sexual partner, resulting in their partner feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied and themselves feeling anxious and depressed.</p>
<p>Even in the most loving partnerships, this can put a lot of stress and strain on the relationship and can even result in the relationship breaking down irreparably due to the tension and frustration it creates.</p>
<p>Therefore, finding a solution for how to last longer in bed is a very important priority for many couples.</p>

<p>Psychological causes of premature ejaculation are often associated with men that have suffered with this issue most of their life.</p>

<p>I hope you&#8217;ve been following the advice in previous posts and experimenting with some of the techniques I&#8217;ve shared with you. <p>In this post I&#8217;m going to share with you another couple of techniques, which can help you to last longer in bed. Actually, they&#8217;re exercises that are designed to train your body into delaying the ejaculation reflex.</p>
<p>And, like all exercises, they&#8217;ll need to be practiced over the long term before you start seeing the benefits &#8211; just as you need to train regularly in order to have a fit body.</p>
<p>It may seem like hard work, but if you stick at it, the benefits can be amazing!</p>
<h3>Why Is Training Required?</h3>
<p>Scientific research has revealed that premature ejaculation may actually be a characteristic of the strongest members of the human race. After all, a man&#8217;s ability to plant his seed in a female quickly gives him more chance of being able to produce offspring.</p>
<p>Although this may have been a useful survival trait back in the stone age, times have changed and there&#8217;s no longer the need to do the business before the next club-wielding maniac or wooly mammoth walks around the corner.</p>
<p>Believe it or not, there&#8217;s a good chance you&#8217;ve already been training your ejaculatory reflex without realizing it &#8211; however, you&#8217;ve trained it to be quick instead of long-lasting.</p>
<p>As an adolescent, many of us have taught ourselves to ejaculate quickly to avoid being caught masturbating. Unfortunately, this is remembered as we move into adulthood and is one of the top causes of premature ejaculation.</p>
<p>The good news is that we can re-train our bodies to last longer by regularly practicing these two simple exercises:</p>
<h3>Exercise #1: Longer Masturbation</h3>
<p>By practicing something we remember it and it becomes a habit.</p>
<p>Therefore it is essential to masturbate with your partner in mind.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t mean you have to think about your partner whilst masturbating but you do need to think of her needs and desires &#8211; 30 seconds of thrusting will not be all that pleasurable for her.</p>
<p>So, make sure that when you masturbate you are not pressed for time or can be disturbed &#8211; do NOT rush yourself.</p>
<p>Aim to masturbate for around 15 minutes. Do not allow yourself to ejaculate before the 15 minutes has expired (although you can speed up and slow down as required).</p>
<p>The more that you do this, the more it will become a habit and your body will subconsciously learn that ejaculation should take place around 15 minutes into sexual activity &#8211; which is more than enough time to bring your partner to orgasm at least once.</p>
<h3>Exercise #2: Kegals</h3>
<p>A Kegal (named after it&#8217;s creator Dr. Arnold Kegal) is a pelvic floor exercise designed to strengthen the pubococcygeal muscles.</p>
<p>Increased muscular control can give more control over ejaculation.</p>
<p>The Kegal exercise itself simply involves contracting or tensing these muscles, holding it for 5-10 seconds then relaxing it. This should be done 10 times or for 10 repetitions during each exercise session.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a little difficult to describe where these muscles and it can also be a little difficult to find them!</p>
<p>They are located within the underside of the pelvis in the area between the scrotum and anus. A good way to find them is to stop and start the flow whilst urinating. The muscles that you feel tensing are the ones you need to exercise.</p>
<h3>Summary</h3>
<p>By practicing these two techniques regularly, you can teach your body and mind to last longer in bed, whilst also developing increased control over when you ejaculate.</p>

<p>Just a quick post today to share with you an interesting video I found about using New Age techniques to help control premature ejaculation.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve spoken previously about taking a deep breath when you feel that you are going to ejaculate to stop the reflex process.</p>
<p>In the video, one of the techniques recommended is to take a deep breath, then tense the muscles around the lower half of your body before taking in a sniff of air and breathing out slowly.</p>

<p>In this post, I&#8217;d like to share with you another technique to help your boyfriend last longer in the bedroom &#8211; it&#8217;s called the Stop-Start Technique.</p>
<p>The good thing about this technique is that you can experiment with it without even mentioning to your man that you want him to last longer. <p>In this post, I&#8217;m going to share with you ten tips to last longer in bed and get your sex life back on track.</p>
<h3>Tip #1</h3>
<p>First things first, <strong>get yourself checked out by your doctor</strong>. Some underlying illnesses can result in premature ejaculation such as prostate disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and multiple sclerosis.</p>
<h3>Tip #2</h3>
<p><strong>Take a deep breath</strong> as you feel yourself about to climax. I don&#8217;t know exactly why this works but the process of taking in a lungful of air seems to switch off the ejaculation reflex.</p>
<h3>Tip #3</h3>
<p><strong>Think unsexy thoughts</strong>. They don&#8217;t have to be sexual thoughts or thoughts that turn you off &#8211; they just have to be something different to distract your mind. I found that something ridiculously stupid tended to work best &#8211; I used to think of a kangaroo in golfing trousers hitting golf balls out of the back of an airplane. <p>Physical causes are those that are are the result of diseases and illnesses or an unhealthy body.</p>
<p><strong>Alcoholism</strong> and <strong>drug abuse</strong> can affect how long you last in bed. <strong>High blood pressure</strong> caused by an unhealthy lifestyle is also a common cause.</p>

<p><strong>Prostate disease</strong> and other conditions that affect the prostate gland (which is responsible for producing the white substance in semen as well as forcing the semen out of the penis during ejaculation) can also lead to ejaculation problems.</p>
<p>If you think that root cause of your own premature ejaculation may be related to one of these illnesses,you should seek further advice from your doctor. Even if you think the cause may be psychological, I would recommend getting a health check from your doctor to rule out any of these potential diseases.</p>
<h3>Psychological Causes of Premature Ejaculation</h3>
<p>Psychological causes are those that relate to the mind or psyche. Some psychological causes of premature ejaculation can be traced back to childhood &#8211; especially for men that have had ejaculation problems their whole life &#8211; whilst other psychological causes can be caused by recent events.</p>
<p>Traumatic experiences as a youngster from being caught masturbating to sexual abuse can cause premature ejaculation in later life, as can conditioning yourself to orgasm quickly to avoid being caught masturbating. Men that are brought up in environments where masturbation and sex is considered wrong or sinful can also be contributing factors.</p>
<p>Problems with the mind, such as depression, anxiety and high levels of stress are known to cause premature ejaculation. Emotional problems from unresolved conflicts with your sexual partner or worrying about reaching orgasm before your partner can also make the problem worse.</p>

<p>The good news is that most cases of premature ejaculation can be fixed and once the root cause of the problem has been identified, you can experiment with some of the treatments available.</p>
