Hey Guys,
Premature ejaculation can ruin the sex life of many men (and women) but the good news is that most problems are usually short term and can be easily fixed.
In this post, I’m going to share with you ten tips to last longer in bed and get your sex life back on track.
Tip #1
First things first, get yourself checked out by your doctor. Some underlying illnesses can result in premature ejaculation such as prostate disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and multiple sclerosis.
Tip #2
Take a deep breath as you feel yourself about to climax. I don’t know exactly why this works but the process of taking in a lungful of air seems to switch off the ejaculation reflex.
Tip #3
Think unsexy thoughts. They don’t have to be sexual thoughts or thoughts that turn you off – they just have to be something different to distract your mind. I found that something ridiculously stupid tended to work best – I used to think of a kangaroo in golfing trousers hitting golf balls out of the back of an airplane. Don’t ask me what caused me to think of this because I don’t know. However, it did stop me ejaculating.
Tip #4
Stop the intercourse and keep your partner excited with oral sex or hand stimulation. This will take the focus off your penis and give your mind something else to concentrate on.
Tip #5
Similar to Tip #4 is slowing down. Keep the sexual intercourse going but at a slower pace whilst you compose yourself.
Tip #6
The squeeze technique involves squeezing the tip of your penis for ten seconds or so when you feel you are about to ejaculate. For some reason, this stops you reaching orgasm, whilst maintaining your erection.
Tip #7
“Relax. Don’t do it. When you want to cum.” Being relaxed with your partner and with your life in general can boost your performance in the bedroom. If you live a particularly stressful life, it is advisable to try and remove some of those stresses for your health in general as well as your sex life.
Tip #8
The half-penis shuffle is a technique that I believe I discovered. It involves being on top of your partner, rising slightly onto your knees so that your penis is only halfway inside your partner and performing a fast pelvic thrust motion. Although the penetration isn’t deep, your partner will still be stimulated and and you will be less inclined to ejaculate (don’t ask me why – it just works lol).
Tip #9
A healthy body creates a healthy mind, so keep yourself healthy. That means being active, exercising regularly, eating a healthy and varied diet and avoiding excessive intake of alcohol or other harmful drugs. As well as helping with premature ejaculation problems, a healthy lifestyle will keep your immune system strong and help fight off disease and illness quicker as well as increasing the quality of your life.
Tip #10
Practice makes perfect so try to enjoy sexual intercourse as often as you can. Not only will this give you the chance to experiment with some of the techniques described here but you’ll also become more familiar to sexual activity and bring you closer to your partner.
In addition, it is important not to make a big deal out of the problem. I don’t believe that there has ever been a sexually active man alive that has never reached orgasm before his partner, so don’t beat yourself up about it – we all do it sometime or other, whether it’s because we’re really horny or because we only have time for a quickie or some other reason. By worrying about it, anxiety will increase and the increased pressure you put on yourself to perform will make success almost impossible.
